According to the Manila Bulletin, fresh graduates in the Philippines enter the labor market facing challenges related to skills and experience that may not always align with their educational background. The national unemployment rate reached 6% in July 2026, based on data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Additionally, data shows that the Philippines recorded around 3.14 million unemployed Filipinos in mid-2026, including fresh graduates entering the labor market and striving to find opportunities that match their skills and qualifications.

From our first office in Makati, Cooee has grown to welcome approximately 331 Filipinos who we proudly call Cooeemates. More than 253 Cooeemates are based in Makati, where our journey began and where our values of Be Authentic, Be Empathetic, and Believe in Potential continue to guide how we work and thrive together.
In mid-2023, Cooee expanded to Iloilo, opening a new location and welcoming a growing team of Cooeemates. Today, more than 60 Cooeemates call Iloilo home, bringing their own skills, experiences, and stories to the team.
But for Cooee, the people behind these skills matter just as much as the work they do. We believe people need space to rest and be present. Through Cooee engagement initiatives and practices like unplug sessions, we create moments for Cooeemates to step away from the usual pace, connect with one another, and simply breathe.

Cooee creates opportunities for Cooeemates to connect through coaching, connect through monthly activities, and explore talents and interests beyond the skills they bring to their roles.
